Every example below is played by the app's real alert renderer, the same one that runs in OBS. Press Replay to see it again. All of these are made in the Alert Builder without any code.
Text templates
Alert text is a template: variables are filled in when the alert plays. A few ideas to copy:
Resub with streak
{user} resubbed for {months} months![ That's a {streak} month streak!]
The part in [ ] only shows if the viewer shared their streak.
Tip with message
{user} tipped {amount}[: “{message}”]
No message, no empty quotes.
Fallbacks
Thanks {user|friend}!
Uses "friend" when there's no name.
Raid with link
Go follow twitch.tv/{login}!{login} is the Twitch username, always link-safe.
Ad break countdown
Ads playing, back in {time_left}!
With "Last until it ends", it counts down live.
Goal progress
{goal_left} more followers to go!
Works in any alert, not only the goal.
